We had a bit of a warm snap last week so I thought I'd take advantage of it and step outside for my daily photos. I picked up this dress for $5 at Target. What a steal for such a cute little thing. I love the every-which-way stripes (of course) and the neutral color. I can throw almost any one of my cardigans over this thing. And the ruching is great becasue I can make it longer or shorter depending on my leg wear. Also loving the high neckline for work. No layering necessary. And this cardigan has become a favorite in my maternity months. Perhaps it's becasue I've purchased so many neutral pieces to remix it with or becasue it's flowy and light weight so I don't get too hot. I also like that it's printed but not so it works with nearly everything.
This belly is 27 weeks along. (I'm currently 28, this blog is a week behind real life.) It's a big 'ol belly. That's what husband says as he rubs it. I think he likes it more than my flat belly. I have to say I've had lots of complaints in this pregnancy, but I could stare at this belly all day. I've got 12 weeks to go and I know they will be uncomfortable, but I'll miss this big 'ol belly. I love sitting on the couch watching it bounce and wave as our little one swims around in there.
If you've been pregnant, what was your favorite part?

This is such a fabulous dress! I love how you have embraced your baby bump and have been dressing to show it off. So cute :) My favorite part about being pregnant was definitely when they moved around.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute dress and belly Keely! I really didn't like pregnancy as much as I should have but I had all kinds of physical and emotional issues going on. But I did LOVE the little kicks and somersaults for sure!
ReplyDeleteYou look so serene here! I wasn't a huge fan of my pregnancies. I did like feeling the baby's movements, though.
ReplyDeletelove the bump and dress Xo Megan, www.TfDiaries.com
ReplyDeleteI like the stripe on stripe going on in this outfit. I am jealous you found that dress for $5, we need a target here already!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness you look so chic! I want this outfit in non-maternity size, haha! I love your stripiness (it's a word, I swear!) and how comfortable you look. Maternity clothes are so great now... you can stay true to your style and don't have to be stuck wearing some ugly mu-mu.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part about being pregnant was seeing my belly change (the belly, in general) and hearing my little baby girl's moves and kicks. By far these were the best part. Now that my baby is here (10 days old today) I definitely miss the belly and I miss being pregnant, I miss it a bit. But seeing her in my arms makes it all a thousand times better.
ReplyDeleteYou do have a cute belly & this is one of my most favorite Maternity Outfits you have put together.
